Sinai Temple, 10400 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, discussion will focus on Albom’s upcoming book, “The Time Keeper†Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 8:00pm in which the author reinvents the legend of Father Time and casts him not as an old, withered man, but as a gifted young boy who becomes the inventor of the world’s first clock.
Mitch Albom, is a celebrated novelist, playwright and screenwriter. He also works as a broadcaster and columnist and has received The Red Smith Award for his lifetime achievement in sports writing.
Sinai Temple was established as the first Conservative congregation in Southern California in 1906 making it the oldest (and currently largest) Conservative Synagogue in Los Angeles, where it continues to flourish as a leader in Conservative Jewish life.
