Christina López, author of “Estamos en la Lucha: Immigrant Women Light the Fires of Resistance,†and The Freedom Socialist Party’s 2012 Vice Presidential Candidate will be in Los Angeles on Monday, July 30, 2012 7:00pm at Solidarity Hall, 2122 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Los Angeles. She will discuss why racially motivated attacks are on the rise and why the battles over race and gender are on the cutting edge of social and political change.
