On Friday, April 13th at 8:00 p.m., Westwood Voices, a 20-voice A Capella Chorus, will present a concert of Renaissance and modern choral music.
The concert will be held in the subterranean parking garage of The Westwood Hills Christian Chuch, 10808 Le Conte Avenue in Westwood, across the street from The UCLA Medical Center. The concert is free but a donation of $10 is suggested.
The program, which will be one hour with no intermission, features works by Josquin, Purcell, Lauridsen, and the music director, Nathanael Pangrazio.
The newly formed group consists of gifted young singers from UCLA USC, and Cal State Long Beach. The magic of this unique acoustic environment should make for a truly memorable evening of music.
There will be free parking and refreshments following to meet the singers.
