The American Heart Association, in collaboration with Macy’s and Beverly Center, invites the public to kick up their heels for the second annual Go Red For Women Heels for Hearts in celebration of National Wear Red Day. The event aims to elevate public awareness of heart disease – the No. 1 killer of women. There is no fee to participate in the event which will be held on February 2, 2012 11:00am-1:30pm.
Activities will include a fun group walk at the Beverly Center, free blood pressure screenings courtesy of Huntington Hospital, and a friendly competition for the Best Female Red Heels, Best Male Red Heels, Most Impressive Red Heels and Best Go Red Spirit. Exciting prizes from Macy’s and the Beverly Center are in store for the winners.
