On Saturday, April 30, under the auspices of the Argentine Consulate, and in association with Bayside District, Tango Smith presents the second annual “Tango on the Street†event. Third Street Promenade will host a unique cultural FREE event which includes free tango lessons, live music, dance exhibitions, food and artisan vendors.
“Tango on the Street†kicks-off the The Santa Monica International Tango Holiday (The SMITH) which takes place Friday, May 6 through Monday, May 9, 2011, will feature internationally renowned dancers and musicians from who will teach and perform various tangos.
The SMITH will also offer Tango Boot Camp for first time dancers interested in learning to dance tango.
