A moving and insightful documentary, THE TABLE, follows a network support group of the same name comprised of established and novice writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, composers and artists working or hoping to work in the entertainment industry.
In 2008, indie filmmaker Ana Barredo was invited to attend a TABLE meeting. Impressed after the first meeting she attended, Barredo decided to pick up her camera and follow this group for a year chronicling the highs and lows of their creative and professional development. The result is a heartwarming story about how these eclectic individuals provide support and inspiration for each other through the heartbreaks and triumphs of making it in Hollywood.
Founded by “The Twilight Zone Companion†author Marc Scott Zicree almost 20 years ago, THE TABLE continues to provide a weekly platform for creative minds in film and television to discuss their strategies on finding success in the entertainment industry.
“The Power of Network†event is sponsored by Nosotros, a group founded by actor Ricardo Montalban in 1970, which serves as collective voice of Latinos actively pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Nosotros is dedicated to enhancing the image of Latinos and other under represented minorities in Hollywood.
