Broadway Elementary will host another informational evening regarding its Mandarin Immersion Program on July 1st.
On July 1st, Broadway Elementary will discuss the program for which it is still accepting people for the waiting list for a second Fall 2010 kindergarden class (children outside the district are encouraged to enroll – permits can be easily obtained — for now). If you are interested in this unique educational opportunity for your child, please come join us.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program is designed for students to achieve academic proficiency in both English and Mandarin. Research shows that learning a second language increases children’s problem solving ability, creativity and critical thinking in all subject areas. Learning Mandarin will prepare our children to be versatile and competitive in the future global workforce as China becomes one of the world’s dominant economic powers.
At the information session, you will be able to find out more about the program, mingle with other incoming parents, meet with Principal Susan Wang and take a short school tour afterwards.
