The New West Symphony will present Mozart’s grand Symphony No. 41, “Jupiter” in concert on Sunday, April 7 at 4:00pm at Barnum Hall on the campus of Santa Monica High School, located at 601 Pico Blvd in Santa Monica.
The performance, conducted by Maxim Eshkenazy, will also feature four principal musicians of the orchestra as soloists in Haydn’s high-spirited Sinfonia concertante for Oboe, Bassoon, Violin & Cello. The concert will open with Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov’s Seven Pieces for String Orchestra.
A free, 30-minute pre-concert conversation will take place one hour prior to curtain.
