South Brentwood Residents Association to Hold Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of SBRA will be held Thursday, March 22. Doors open at 6 p.m.; speakers begin at 7 pm., at Tenth Church of Christ, Scientist, 1133 So. Bundy. Plenty of free parking.
We are honored this year to have both Assemblymember Mike Feuer and County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky as our featured speakers. Zev will be speaking promptly at 7:00 followed by a tribute to Fire Captain Jim Gaffney and the Station 19 firefighters who so brilliantly fought the Gorham fire in November. We will also be thanking the generous residents and businesses who offered their time, money and/or services to the families who lost their homes in the fire. And as always, Sr. Lead Officer Phillip Enbody will update us on crime in South Brentwood.
This year, prior to the formal meeting, we will have informational tables set up between 6:00-7:00. This will include Green Hollow Square, the 405 Project, the California Veterans Home, the Giving Spirit, and the San Vicente Parking Project. In addition, Robin Keefe, President of BookEnds, will be collecting new and gently used children’s books…so please bring them to this meeting!

Finally, SOS Survival Products will have a display of their products and the company has donated a door prize of a Two Person Emergency Kit which will be raffled at the end of the meeting.
