Based on a classic Italian short story, the opera tells a story about a passion too powerful to resist and its deadly consequences.
Santa Monica performances are set for Saturday, April 2 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m. at the Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club, 1210 Fourth St, Santa Monica.
Tickets, priced at $25, will be available online at www.vtopera.org . Reduced price tickets ($15) for seniors and students will be available at the door.
