Talk about the perfect day, perfect site and perfect pair for a wedding on June 27 at the hilltop castle of Dr. Danne King (aka Socialite/Philanthropist Liz Loren). It was the first all-out-full glamorous gay wedding at the venue held the day after the announcement that the Supreme Court approved same sex weddings nationally!
The guest list included many prominent Westside VIP’s, including Dr. Lewis Weintraub, who proudly gave the Bride away; Grace Robbins (wife of the late author, Harold Robbins) came in from Palm Springs, and Kaarina Kivilahti jetted in from Helsinki, Finland where Dr. Danne operates several of his 7,000 clinics worldwide. Also in attendance was Washington Insider, Yale Scott, formerly associated with Laura Bush and Ambassador Nancy Brinker.
American Activist Stuart Milk (nephew of the late Harvey Milk) flew in to be Best Man. Dr. King is an avid supporter of his organization, which assists and guides gay people in their quest to be accepted. Stuart is a great friend of King and his partner, Drue Assiter-King. Best wishes and congratulations to this charming couple.
