The Archer School for Girls invites high school students (9th-12th) – girls and boys – who reside in California to submit original films. In addition, girls attending all-girls schools anywhere in the USA are invited to submit films. The Festival accepts all types of submissions, including: narratives, animation, public service announcements, experimental films and documentaries which are 1-10 minutes in length. Films exploring gender roles are encouraged.
Selected films will be judged by a panel of industry professionals, Archer students, and Archer faculty.
Deadline for submissions is April 8, 2013.

Gala screening event of finalists’ submissions will take place on May 10, 2013 7:30 pm at the Harmony Gold Theater 7655 Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood.
Moderated panels led by industry professionals and Keynote speaker TBA will take place May 11, 11:30 am – 3:00 pm at
The Archer School for Girls 11725 Sunset Blvd in Brentwood.
There is no entry fee.
