Dr. Marie Paquim (P.H.D., UCLA), Actress, Co-Writer and Creative Producer for Utopia Lumiere Films, Santa Monica, CA, will be one of three human trafficking survivors to speak at a special benefit at Creative Visions Foundation, Saturday, February 16th 6:00pm.
“Love Freedom†will feature Marie Paquim, a former child star in Europe,whose current project, “Land of the Free, Except for Me,†is based largely on her own experience as a victim of human trafficking in our own city. Two other survivors, Petra Hensley and Chong Kim, will speak as will producer/writer and former United Nations worker Erin Grover, who will talk about her work following the sex trafficking trade in Cambodia. There is also a silent auction of fine art, a fashion show, music, a magic show and refreshment.
