Playwright and Emmy Award winner, Elliot Shoenman will return to the Odyssey Theatre, 2055 South Sepulveda Blvd. in West Los Angeles, with his newest play A Heap Of Livin’, which includes original music by award — Oscar, Grammy, Tony nominations and awards — David Shire.
Eden and Pearl are the middle-aged daughters of legendary folk singer Ramblin’ Harry Roe and have split the responsibility of caring for him in his later years. As Harry’s health declines and he becomes more obstinate, Eden and Pearl’s “deal†unravels dramatically.
A HEAP OF LIVIN’ opens Friday, February 8, 2013 and runs through March 17, 2013 with performances Thursdays-Saturdays at 8:00pm and 2:00pm on Sundays.
