Participating rescues will include Much Love Animal Rescue, Perfect Pet Rescue, Friends of Animals Foundation, Bichons & Buddies, Ken-Mar Rescue and West Coast Animal Rescue.
Guests will enjoy complimentary fresh artisan pizza provided by PizzaRev, and desserts from Sprinkles Cupcakes and Gotta Have S’More. There will also be a surprise raffle giveaway and special gift provided by Citydog! Club for all those attending.
The adoption event is designed to resemble speed dating between single people looking for love. Guests will be given several minutes with each dog before hearing a bell that will mean it is time to switch to the next dog.
“We thought – hey it works for humans. Why not try it out for dogs?†Or so CSUN students Elina Kaufman, John Lewis, Whitney Hudson, and Marcus Collins who created the event think.
