Community activists will scrutinize the President’s real record on issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in light of his recent statement in support of marriage equality.
Volunteers for the Durham-López Presidential/Vice Presidential team will report on whether conditions for the 99% have gotten better since Obama took office—or whether the president’s policies are just a continuation of those of Bush and Clinton.
The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is free. A healthy summer supper, with vegetarian option, will be served at 6:30pm for a donation. Everyone is welcome.
The meeting will be held at Solidarity Hall 2122 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Los Angeles. For more information call 323-732-6416 or email fspla@earthlink.net
