Interactive story-telling, sing-a-longs, crafts, face-painting, enactment of a beloved fairytale, theatre games, refreshments and special surprise gifts make this delightful Santa Monica Playhouse special event the perfect Memorial Day weekend outing for kids ages 4 to 10 and their grown-ups.
Grandchildren coming for a visit? Moms and Dads want to do something special for family members? Enchanted Fairytale theatre is just the thing to give kids the chance to make new friends, make handicrafts, sing, dance, and act out the story, working with members of Actors’ Repertory Theatre, Santa Monica’s professional acting company, as they take the stage for 90 minutes of pure theatre fun.
Hosted by the gaily costumed Enchanted Fairytale Players, these events only take place a few times during the year, so make y
our reservations right away. Parents work as partners throughout this adorable acting adventure, taking an active role in all aspects of the program as everyone shares their personal perspectives on the day’s fairytale, plays fun games that develop the imagination, and works with crafts to create props which are used in the final presentation. Space is extremely limited and reservations are a must. With complimentary refreshments and a special gift for each participant, it’s the perfect event for the whole family to enjoy.
