Contemporary artist Brooke Harker is honored to participate in the Beverly Hills artSHOW, featuring over 250-juried artists,on May 19th and 20th, 2012.
Brooke Harker discusses, art, her work and why she became an artist, “I believe that the key ingredient in art is love…there is no “fixing†that solves a composition in my eyes…it is adding love and energy that makes a piece work. Yet every work does not have to be a masterpiece. The experience of creating is the best part of the journey.â€
She adds, “It is said that the world becomes a better place when each person connects to their joy…so I paint because I feel free and full of love.â€
Harker is excited to participate in the Beverly Hills artSHOW which has taken place for the past 40 years and has grown in to the city’s largest public event taking place in the spring and fall of each year.
For Harker, 2012 presents an artSHOW first, “I had a few paintings in through a gallery in 2007. This is my first time with my own
booth!â€
Harker will show her latest series, “Cityscapes†which shares impressions of urban scenery. You can find Brooke at Booth #358 (between, Canon & Crescent on the southwest corner).
The Beverly Hills artSHOW takes place on May 19th and 20th from 10:00pm – 6:00pm at the historic Beverly Gardens located along Santa Monica Blvd, from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive.
