On Sunday, April 22 at 2:00pm Beverly Hills’ historic Greystone Mansion, 905 Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills, will host an intimate concert featuring two world-class string quartets Aiana Quartet and Hausmann Quartet.
Formed in the summer of 2004 and currently the resident string quartet at San Diego State University, the Hausmann Quartet features Yuan Chang on the cello, Isaac Allen on the violin, Bram Goldstein on the violin and Angela Choong on the viola.
The Quartet recently won the Chamber Music America Residency Grant and will be the Quartet-in-Residence at Stanford University’s Educational Program for gifted Youth Summer Initiative.
The Aiana String Quartet — a winner in the 2011 Coleman International Chamber Music Competition — is currently in residence at the University of Texas and features Jillian Bloom on cello, Mario Andreu on viola and Hannah Hurwitz and Rosaminna Watson on violin. Aiana has performed in the US and abroad and is consistently lauded by audiences for its highly emotional interpretations.
