Grace Slick, lead singer of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship and Starship has painted professionally for over 12 years. For the past couple of years, she has followed the Medical Cannabis movement in California and has created a special series of paintings that deal with the Medical Cannabis issue, the people who benefit from it and the laws surrounding it.
To catch a rare glimpse of the complete 420 collection of paintings and the artist herself, come to the GSC Cannabis Lab at 3110 Pennsylvania Avenue in Santa Monica where Slick will talk with collectors and dedicate artwork purchased at the event.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP).
The hours for Ms. Slick’s show are:
