The Los Angeles Open Day features six gardens in Brentwood and Santa Monica including one belonging to the legendary Julie Newmar (Catwoman in the original Batman series).
In addition, guests can; revisit a garden from a past Open Day that has been completely re-imagined by the Wirtz brothers of Belgium, admire an Italian-inspired family garden, or explore lush English style parterres, and also see the work of more local designers.
Admission to each garden is $5 or $25 for all six gardens. No reservations required; event will take place rain or shine.
Visitors may begin the tour at the Grow Native Nursery Westwood, Davis Avenue, Westwood, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (each garden open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for maps and discount admission tickets.
