“Jazzercise†at Barrington Recreation Center

Jazzercise, the world’s leading dance fitness program, has been keeping folks fit while they have fun for 41 years. Choreographed to today’s hottest music, each 60-minute Jazzercise group fitness class offers a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and Latin style movements.

Jazzercise recently announced their extension of its partnership with Cheryl Burke through the end of 2011. Burke, professional dancer and two-time champion of the popular ABC TV show “Dancing with the Stars,†will continue to serve as a Jazzercise spokesperson in a variety of marketing campaigns. Jazzercise and Burke initiated the partnership in June 2009.
Founded by fitness pioneer and company CEO Judi Sheppard Missett, Jazzercise is larger than ever, with 7,800 instructors teaching more than 32,000 classes weekly in all 50 states and 32 countries. The company continues to thrive, building on seven consecutive best ever years in system wide sales.
Schmidt teaches Jazzercise at the newly renovated Barrington Recreation Center in Brentwood. Brentwood Jazzercise offers weekly classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:30am. Barrington Recreation Center is located at 333 S. Barrington Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90049. Hand held weights and a mat are suggested.
