Energized by the sold-out success of their 2009 three-week run of “NeverWonderLand,†the creative team has gone back to the drawing board to rewrite, re-imagine and rediscover their original concept. Infused with a healthy dose of modern magic, this version offers skinny jean-clad Lost Boys and a life-sized, puppet-wielding Tinkerbell. What remains the same is the timeless challenge: as they make friends, encounter enemies and defy gravity, the siblings Peter and Alice must face the Queen of Hearts and Captain James, and discover a balance between fantasy and reality, social pressures and individual desires, and childhood and adulthood.
The adventure runs July 24 through August 22, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 2 PM at the Miles Memorial Playhouse in Santa Monica.
