DealMuse Entertainment is hosting a very special night of music and fundraising to raise awareness about ending child trafficking and sexual exploitation. The event, held at Fais Do Do in Los Angeles on June 11th includes performances by Aishaha, The Bolt, Allison Geddie, The Association, Heaven is Where, Dave Lockhart with Mojorisin, and Troy McComas, plus special surprise guests.
Donations received at the show will go towards the making of the feature film PURE and documentary. PURE is an action thriller that exposes the reality and horrors of child slavery trafficking. All net proceeds of the film will go to the charities Love146.org and Life Impact International, trusted and legitimate organizations that rescue and provide help to trafficked children. The mission of these charities is to abolish child trafficking around the world.
Child trafficking occurs when children are recruited through force, deception or kidnapping, and transported within their country or across borders in order for them to be exploited by being used in prostitution or pornography, child labor, factory work, begging, and as child soldiers. Child trafficking is a $32 Billion industry. It is estimated that 2 children are sold every minute. Attached as a special feature to the DVD would be a behind the scenes documentary which will provide practical solutions to this horrific problem.
We believe that the film itself will not only raise awareness, but also help fight the problem in a very tangible way.
Children are being sold for as little as $16. They are being freed for amounts varying between $24 and $300, and placed in safe-homes. $1 a day per child provides food, water, clothes, education and health care. The idea is that by saving children from being trafficked today and providing them with opportunity to get education we empower the next generation to brake the cycle of poverty which is one of the mane causes for trafficking to happen. A home is build for $2950. After investors make their promised return and profit, our production team intends to keep nothing for their personal gain, but donate all proceeds to Love146.org and Life Impact International to help fight child trafficking. We estimate to be able to donate at least $300,000 to the cause, which would help save and care for roughly 1000 children for the first year of exploiting the film. We expect that the difference we make will be perpetuated by the continued exploitation of the film. We believe that by touching people’s hearts through the art of filmmaking, we will be able to potentially reduce child trafficking up to 90%.
The feature film PURE has the intention to reach an immense mainstream audience in the way that a documentary or an occasional news blurb cannot. By producing a mass appeal action movie that is embedded with the facts and horrors of child trafficking, those affected by the factual themes could in fact be inspired or motivated to investigate, and even participate in the fight to end this pandemic.
