“We want to keep the festival alive,†explained producer, Esquire Jauchem, “but we encountered so many problems when we did it on Windward Avenue last year that we had to come up with a new approach this year. The audience loved the energy of the festival on that street in the heart of Venice, but the finances do not work out with the number of vendor booths we can fit in there.â€
“The private party this year will be a benefit in the hope of raising funds to get the Carnevale back next year as a free, public event†, concluded Jauchem.
Miriam More, the producer in charge of talent added, “Fatfinger, Todd Spero, and Diva Danielle will be spinning and the Harissa Dance troupe will make their annual colorful appearance as well as fire dancers and circus acts.â€
