Explore site, movement and process with the Annenberg Community Beach House Artist in Residence in a free 2 hour workshop. Participants will create movement based on the architecture and story of the Beach House.
The composition process will include site exploration, writing and drawing as sources for inspiration. The 2 hour adventure will culminate in a mini-performance followed by a discussion. Previous participants are welcome back to explore choreographic process more deeply, and new participants also welcome – all will be thoroughly explained!
This workshop is appropriate for all ages from teens to seniors; no dance experience required. Youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Comfortable clothing suggested. Seats limited; reserve your free spot at http://www.beachculture28.eventbrite.com.
