A story of yearning, healing and emotional survival told through the eyes of a dozen characters, that unfolds as playwright/performer Elaine Ocasio, called to her father’s death bed, relives their complex relationship, including his sexual abuse of her as a child. That meeting sets her on a journey through the past, revealing her growth to understanding, and her strength to heal and survive. Surprisingly uplifting while at the same time opening a window onto the issues that survivors of abuse deal with every day of their lives.
