Global Pop at the Music Center features some of the most celebrated international pop music stars performing today. The third, and final, concert in this year’s series is modern day French troubadour, Hugues Aufray, who will play in Los Angeles for one night only, Friday, August 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.
Aufray’s songs have been a staple of French music for both children and adults alike for the past forty years. His songs “Santiano”, “Celine”and “Stewball” along with his covers of Bob Dylan’s classics are sung by French children and adults alike. During his illustrious career he has recorded more than 250 songs and has toured extensively in Europe, Canada and the far east. Thanks to the Global Pop at the Music Center, LA now gets to enjoy Aufray on August 21st.
