Bryce Norbitz and Nicole Rosner have brought their theatre company’s unique brand of site-specific, interactive production to Los Angeles.
The company, UglyRhino, of which Norbitz is Executive Producer and Rosner is Artistic Director, is known for developing theatre productions that utilize unconventional spaces and bring their audience into the production, going so far as to have the actors serve the audience alcoholic beverages. The company is in residence at the Brooklyn Lyceum, a 10,000 square-foot converted bath house, but is spreading their wings to Los Angeles for their latest conceptual theatre production.
MINDSPIN, marks UglyRhino’s west coast premiere and was conceived and written by Norbitz and Rosner. They work-shopped the concept with their cast at the Red Loft in downtown Los Angeles, the venue for this production, and created the show in collaboration with the actors.
MINDSPIN runs through April 6, 2013 at The Red Loft, 605 E 4th Street in downtown Los Angeles. Enjoy MINDSPIN and witness the rebirth of immersive theatre in Southern California.
