Event: Annual Arthritis Walk in Los Angeles
When: Saturday, June 5, 2010 – Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Santa Monica Pier, Lot 1 North (next to the Pier)
Time: 7:30 a.m. – Registration Opens
8:30 a.m. – Opening Ceremony; 8:45 a.m. – Warm-Up
9:00 a.m. – Walk Begins, 1 or 3 mile options – Until 12:00 noon
The Arthritis Walk Village will feature live entertainment, kids zone, activities, refreshments, and food.
At the Event…
· Choose either a three-mile or one-mile walk route
· Enjoy the beach scenery and Santa Monica Promenade
· Enjoy the fun, festivities, food and free health information
· Wear a blue “hero†hat if you have arthritis
· Live Entertainment at the Festival Zone and along the route
· Children are welcome; dogs on leashes are welcome
Everyone is welcome. Join community and business leaders and take a hike for a good cause.
