VA Announces
Public Hearing
A public hearing will take place on Nov. 16 to present the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposal and receive input on the proposed Enhanced-Use Leases (EUL) to create supportive housing for homeless Veterans on the VA campus.
The hearing is being undertaken as stipulated in the VA’s Draft Master Plan.
The plan currently includes new long-term, community-based housing units with supportive services, focusing on Veteran populations that are homeless, severely disabled, aging, and female.
The contemplated first EUL would consist of approximately 150 units of newly constructed permanent supportive housing on undeveloped open space located north of Buildings 336 and 339
The hearing will take place at 6 p.m. at the Wadsworth Theater, West Los Angeles Medical Center, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, 90073.
