Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lorraine Hansberry (A RAISIN IN THE SUN) comes to life in TO BE YOUNG, GIFTED AND BLACK, a transformative story of grace, humanity and strength of spirit, featuring selections from Ms. Hansberry’s plays, diaries, lectures and letters.
Andi Chapman, the Associate Artistic Director of the Award-winning Ebony Repertory Theatre (ERT) where she served as Assistant Director on the Ovation Award-winning production of A RAISIN IN THE SUN directed by Phylicia Rashad, directs TO BE YOUNG, GIFTED AND BLACK.
The talented ensemble includes Greyson Chadwick, Montelle Harvey, Bruce Ladd, Deborah Marlowe, Shea Scott, Elayn J. Taylor, Kimi Walker and J. Patrick Wise. Gina D’Acciaro is the producer.
