THE TREE MURDERER HAS BEEN CAUGHT
By Barbara Goldenberg
One recent morning around 11:45 a.m., one of the offices on San Vicente Blvd. received a call from a neighbor that there was a man, outside the lobby, breaking the trees in the front of the Building. The tenants quickly went downstairs to find that all four trees had once again been broken in half, however there were witnesses this time. Several people attempted to stop the man. More importantly, one of the witnesses was able to report a description of the man and Building staff scouted the area to find the transient man about a block and a half away. He was arrested by the police, Statements were filled by the witnesses and the Building Management Staff.
The Management is pressing charges as this is the third time this incident has occurred. It is believed that the police will be taking the man to jail. In case he is released for any reason, his description is as follows:
White male,
50-60 years old,
transient,
short white, dirty hair,
long beard
He was holding a bucket and plastic bag and was sitting on the bucket when seen in the vicinity of the property. As noted by witnesses, before and after the incident., he was wearing a beanie on his head, a gray sweater, black pants, a possible problem with one of his eyes (lazy eye, or an infection of some sort).
Patrol officers have been notified. Any additional information given to the police it will be greatly appreciated.
