    Learn about the Santa Monica Bay Tom Ford, a.k.a. “Kelp Man”—SMASH parent, Executive Director of The Bay Foundation, board member of the Santa Monica Clean Beaches Clean Ocean Committee and the So. CA Marine Institute, and part-time faculty at Fred Seaver College of Science and

    Engineering at Loyola Marymount U.–will engage in a lively discussion about our very own Santa Monica Bay. Learn how to keep our coasts clean and our kelp forests—the rainforests of the sea—health and thriving! (www.santamonicaybay.org)

    1. So proud to know that the Franklin Science Club that I started in 2000 is still going strong. I loved leading the Club for 10 years until I moved over to start/run the Lincoln Middle School Science Club. Great experience.
