David George and Lisa Arden have been producing a bimonthly antique market at the Santa Monica Airport for the past 25 years. On the first and fourth Sunday of every month, vendors of everything from rugs to samurai swords gather to sell a wide range of antiques, collectibles and more.
Connie Parente was one of the first people Lisa Arden met in LA. Her jewelry business, Connie Parente Accessories, is featured at flea markets all over L.A. County, including the Santa Monica Airport Antique Market.
“She’s mythic in the business,” said Arden.
Goods sold by the dozens of vendors are of such a wide variety, that according to George and Arden, “you can furnish a house in a day.”
