Fox News senior correspondent Geraldo Rivera, “Good Morning America” chief meteorologist Ginger Zee and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller are among the 12-member cast announced today for the spring season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
The cast also includes three actresses from iconic television shows — Kim Fields (“The Facts of Life”), Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”) and Mischa Barton (“The OC”); a second NFL player, Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown; and Wanya Morris, the second tenor of the rhythm and blues group Boyz II Men.
Two cast members have ties to Republican presidential front-runner Donald J. Trump — actress and television personality Marla Maples, who was married to Trump from 1993-99, and Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Doug Flutie, who Trump signed to play in 1985 for the New Jersey Generals, the team he owned in the now-defunct United States Football League.
The other cast members for the series’ 22nd season introduced today on “Good Morning America” were UFC fighter Paige VanZant and Nyle DiMarco, the winner of the 2015 season of “America’s Next Top Model.”
“Dancing with the Stars”‘ spring season will begin March 21.
