Malibu author Michael O’Hara will sign copies of his new novel Dos Angeles on Saturday, September 19 at 4:30 PM at Bank of Books Malibu, 29169 Heathercliff Road.
In Dos Angeles, multicultural private investigator Paco Moran is hired to find an undocumented young Latina who has stolen money from her employer. Unfortunately for Moran, the amount that is missing is a staggering ten million dollars, the employer is a sleazy porn producer who was laundering the money for a ruthless drug cartel, and the producer’s Mob bosses have made it clear that they will hold the PI responsible if the girl – and the money – are not found within 48 hours. In his quest to find the young woman, Moran learns that in the city he calls Dos Angeles great wealth exists side-by-side with hopeless poverty, no one is truthful, and no motives are pure.
Michael O’Hara is the Emmy-nominated writer and producer of more than thirty critically-acclaimed miniseries and movies for television, including Switched at Birth and Murder in the Heartland. He is also the creator of two TV movie franchises, NBC’s Moment of Truth and ABC’s Crimes of Passion. The author was also formerly an award-winning journalist, and the Vice President of Media Relations at NBC. He lives in Malibu with his wife Doris.
