Nearly two years after Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin separated, the Oscar-winning actress has filed for divorce in Los Angeles, court papers show.
Paltrow, 42, filed her petition Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of her split from the 38-year- old Martin after 11 years of marriage.
The two separated in May 2013.
Paltrow is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their son Moses, 9, and daughter Apple, 10.
