A crane collapsed at a construction site in Century City today, but no one was injured.
The collapse was reported at 6:32 p.m. in the 10000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, near Century Park East, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A search by firefighters turned up no victims, according to the fire department.
The construction site at 10000 Santa Monica Boulevard is for a residential building that once complete will be comprised of 282 units, 470,000 square feet, and 39 stories. A groundbreaking ceremony was held June 5, 2014 for the project.
