Investigations were underway today into a murder-suicide that took the lives of an actress and dancer and her husband, an aspiring rap artist.
The bodies of Earl Hayes, 34, and Stephanie Moseley, 30, were found inside an apartment at the Palazzo complex on the 300 block of Hauser Boulevard and Park La Brea in the Fairfax district around 7:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
Hayes shot and killed his wife before taking his own life, police said.
The celebrity news website TMZ reported Hayes was a friend of boxer Floyd Mayweather. Other outlets reported that Hayes had recorded a song for the Mayweather documentary “30 Days in May”.
Moseley is Canadian and moved to Los Angeles from her birthplace of Vancouver in 2004. Moseley’s internet movie database site said she appeared in a comedy, “The Best Thanksgiving Ever,” which is due for release in 2015, and appeared throughout 2014 in the VH1 reality series “Hit the Floor.”
The couple were married in 2008.
