Beverly Hills police arrested three burglary suspects in the early morning hours of Monday, Dec. 1 after the suspects attempted to to use a sledgehammer to knock down the front door of Gucci on Rodeo Drive.
BHPD Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said an officer assigned to burglary suppression surveillance in the business triangle observed a white sedan approach and stop in front of Gucci at 347 N. Rodeo Drive at about 4:15 am Monday.
“He observed a suspect exit the sedan, remove a sledgehammer from the trunk, and attempt to smash out the front door,” Hoshino said. “Patrol units were called in and directed to the suspect vehicle, which had left southbound on Rodeo Drive.”
Hoshino said officers stopped the vehicle on Rodeo Drive at Wilshire Boulevard and arrested the three occupants.
He identified the trio as Rachel Green, 37 of Los Angeles; Rozzie Lee, 23 of Los Angeles; and Lamont Washington, 45 of Los Angeles.
