A bomb threat today directed at Palisades Charter High School — which was serving as a polling station — resulted in authorities suspending balloting there and evacuating the campus, Los Angeles police said.
Explosive experts were sent to the campus at Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard after authorities learned of the threat — made via social media –about 8:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The school was evacuated, police said.
The investigation was continuing as of mid-morning.
