Dear Editor,
I’m among concerned residents of the area around 555 South Barrington where Verizon has applied to construct a cell tower on the roof of an apartment building.
We are vigorously fighting Verizon in their insane plan to put a cancer-causing cell tower 20 feet over residences. We plan to picket in front of the 555 S. Barrington building this coming week and do every thing we possibly can to prevent Verizon from doing this.
If anyone is interested in helping us, they can do so by calling Michael Sin in the L.A. City Office of Zoning Administration at 213.978.1345 and express their feelings.
Ms. Susan Chan in his office (and his boss) will be making a decision on this by Oct. 19, so we are under a tight schedule to get help in fighting this terrible move.
