A 70-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday after she allegedly shot a male relative at a home in the Hollywood Hills, according to broadcast reports.
The incident was reported at 2:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of Creston Drive, Sgt. Chuck Slater of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division said.
The unidentified victim suffered a single gunshot wound and was hospitalized, Slater said. He’s expected to survive, the sergeant said.
An unidentified woman — who knew the victim — was taken into custody, Slater said.
He said he did not know if they were relatives.
CBS2, however, reports they were related, possibly mother and son.
An investigation was ongoing.
