90 minutes of pure fun for kids and their grown-ups alike. You take the stage for a delightful afternoon of interactive story-telling, sing-a-longs, crafts, face-painting, enactment of a fairytale, theatre games, refreshments and special surprise gifts.
This delightful Santa Monica Playhouse special event is the perfect Halloween-themed October outing for kids ages 4 to 10 and their families. Moms and Dads want to do something different and uniquely theatrical together with their children? Enchanted Fairytale theatre is just the thing to give everyone the chance to make new friends, sing, dance, made handicrafts and act out the day’s story, working and playing together with members of Actors’ Repertory Theatre, Santa Monica’s professional acting company.
Hosted by the gaily 
costumed Enchanted Fairytale Players, these events only take place a few times during the year, so make your reservations right away. Parents work as partners throughout this adorable acting adventure, taking an active role in all aspects of the program as everyone shares their personal perspectives on the day’s fairytale, plays fun games that develop the imagination, works with crafts to create props which are used in the final presentation, and have a special picnic right there on the stage. Space is extremely limited and reservations are a must.
