Setting the scene are LA’s notorious tattoo artists Black Banditz. Spearheaded by creative powerhouse Dan Regan, Black Banditz regularly partners up with such national brands like Flaunt Magazine and DJ Diplo to bring about outstanding entertainment in the night life realm. Black Banditz will be bringing this cutting-edge brand to the ‘HAUS of Art Banditz’ art event via live tattooing for all attendees to participate in.
“This is about having an art night out for people to experience art and culture in a new way, fusing various corners of the art world such as street art and tattoos and putting them in one venue. It is about people immersing themselves in a night of culture with a young twist,” says Rachel Joelson, Curator – Lab Art. “Really when it comes down to it – it’s bringing people together to experience what we love to do, paint, tattoo, eat good food and really enjoy life. That is what the public should know because there is very much an organic element of friends who work in different areas of art coming together to create this event to share with people our passions.”
CYRCLE is a three-man art collective born out of the Los Angeles Street Art Movement of the last decade. The three artists who make up CYRCLE are Devon, Rabi and Davey, all coming from different backgrounds of the artistic spectrum – graffiti, fine art, and design. For the ‘HAUS of Art Banditz’ CYRCLE will be utilizing these artistic aspects in a live demonstration of their truly unique collaborative street art technique.
The main event of the ‘HAUS of Art Banditz’ is a showcasing of the talent of LA’s very own Level Press, a celebrated name when it comes to ‘hand pulled’ prints. Level Press will be exhibiting the ‘hand pulled’ method on T-shirts, gifted to all attending guests.
