Volunteers distribute kits to TGS partner shelters and the homeless community throughout the Los Angeles region. Timing of deliveries will vary by location of distribution. We will try to accommodate volunteers’ requests in regards to destination and mode of transportation, but volunteers must be flexible.

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Sunday Distribution & Outreach
Volunteers distribute kits to the homeless community throughout the Los Angeles region using private vehicles.

We are pleased to be working to help LA’s homeless population, but we are having a harder time this year than last due to the current economic situation.  We encourage people to contribute what they feel that they can afford – $20, $10 even $5 makes a difference.
Each person needs to sign up individually so that we can keep an accurate count of volunteers. http://thegivingspiritdecember2010.eventbrite.com/
