SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA – Easter Seals Southern California Disability Services will hold its 8th annual “Walk With Me,” a fun, family fundraising walk in support of services for people with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy, on Saturday, October 3, at 8 a.m. at the Santa Ana Zoo. Presented by sponsors CVS Caremark, Amway Global, Century 21, Mass Mutual, Pat and Oscar’s, Wells Fargo, Kohl’s, City of Santa Ana and Friends of The Santa Ana Zoo, the 3K walk brings community members together with children and adults with disabilities who have increased their independence through Easter Seals services. All walkers will receive free refreshments and enjoy a live DJ and entertainment!
Walkers can register for $25 at www.WalkWithMe.org/SoCal. All registered walkers receive a free event T-shirt and free entry to the Santa Ana Zoo after the walk to enjoy the animals and wildlife. Last year’s event brought in $60,000 that directly benefited Easter Seals services in Southern California.
