Police today sought the public’s help in locating a 19-year-old student from Loyola Marymount who went missing after arguing with his father on Friday.
Austin Bruns was last seen about 5:30 p.m. Friday, and left all of his important belongings in his dorm, according to a police officer at the LAPD’s Pacific station.
His father, Scott Bruns, told NBC4 that he and his son had argued during a telephone conversation Thursday, and after not hearing back from his son, he flew down from their home in Sacramento.
The elder Bruns told NBC4 that he and his son had apologized at least once before hanging up, and despite trying to call him back several times, the film student did not answer.
Bruns was reported missing at 11 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was asked to call the LAPD’s Pacific station at (310) 482-6334.
