Fire Damages West Hollywood Apartment Building Under Construction

Fire today damaged some scaffolding at the rear of a three-story apartment building under construction in West Hollywood.

Los Angeles County and city firefighters dispatched to the 1300 block of North Hayworth Avenue at 9:45 a.m. had the fire out at 10:25 a.m., Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Chris Reade said.

Reade said the fire was confined to the scaffolding and did not extent into the interior of the building.
